Caravan Park + Local Area Information :
The Park has direct access to sandy beach and riverside walks extending many miles. There is also a cliff-top path giving pedestrian access to the resort of Newbiggin and beyond.
Convenient for Northumberland points of interest; Kielder, Hadrian's Wall, Holy Island, etc. and is close the the start of the Northumberland Castles Route, which will take you to Alnwick Castle [the Windsor Castle of the North] with its famous gardens/tree-top restaurant and Bamburgh Castle amongst others. This route terminates at Berwick, which is on the Scottish Border some 50 miles north.
There is bus access to Newcastle, the Metro Centre, Ashington and Morpeth [from where trains run frequently to Edinburgh and Berwick].
